Full Speed at Täby Ryttarcenter’s Horse Flea Market

Finally, the long-awaited premiere of a horse flea market in northern Stockholm! And what a premiere it was. On Sunday, March 30th, Täby Ryttarcenter’s indoor arena turned into a sea of saddles, blankets, bridles, boots, saddle pads – and everything else you can imagine in the world of horse gear. With over 100 sellers on site, this was a day we’ll never forget – and of course, Floccs was there!

An arena packed with horse equipment

We knew people had lots of stuff lying around at home. But wow – we were not prepared for just how much equestrian gear changed hands in just a few hours. It felt like walking through all of Sweden’s tack rooms – all in one place.

It wasn’t just impressive. It was inspiring. And a little mind-blowing to realize just how much we horse people have to sell!

Floccs was on site!

Floccs joined the event and spent the day chatting with visitors about how easy it is to buy and sell horse gear digitally via our platform. We met sellers who had cleaned out entire tack rooms and riders on the hunt for a bargain – and we heard so many great ideas and thoughtful feedback from all of you.

This clearly shows:

• Horse people have tons of equipment they no longer use

• There is a huge demand for second-hand equestrian gear

• We need smart, long-term solutions to buy and sell horse items year-round

A big YES to more horse flea markets

We absolutely love it when initiatives like this pop-up. Not just for the sustainability aspect – but because they create real meeting places for those of us who live the horse life.

They remind us of how many resources we already have. And honestly – few things beat the joy of bargain hunting among fellow horse lovers.

We truly hope this becomes a recurring event – and we’ll happily come back!

It’s extra exciting to see more horse listings starting to pop up on Floccs – giving lovely ponies like Yankie a better chance to find the right new home.
